Classes, Squads and CoursesThe Richmond Gymnastics Association offers a variety of gymnastic classes for all age-groups throughout the week.Fun 4 Baby Classes: Classes for parents and babies 8 weeks to walking, held in the morning at the RGA centre. Classes last ¾ hour. Richmond Romper Classes: A structured gymnastic programme for children of pre-school age. Classes are held at the RGA centre Monday – Friday between 9.30 and 3.30 and last ¾ hour. General Gymnastics Classes: Structured gymnastic courses for children of school age. In addition to the Centre, General gymnastics classes take place in several satellite centres located in schools within the Borough of Richmond. Classes last for 1 hour. All gymnasts are encouraged to achieve British Gymnastics badges and Richmond Award Scheme badges and also take part in displays for parents and carers. The Competitive Squads: A structured programme of Acrobatic Gymnastics, Floor and Vault or Tumbling, plus developmental squads for younger children. Gymnasts join the squads by invitation only.
All our classes are extremely popular and most have a waiting list. To join the waiting list please contact the Administrator at the RGA centre. Please note children cannot join the Richmond Romper waiting list until they are 15 months old. Term Dates for 2007 - 2008
Courses The RGA host and run courses on coaching gymnastics as well as judging courses for Acrobatic Gymnastics and tumbling.
