This was a great opportunity for the tumblers to compete against some of the best tumbling clubs in the UK prior to our own Club Championships on the 22nd of November and the British Tournament at the end of November. The squad did very well winning joint Gold by Lucy Elliman in the girls 9-10, Silver by Heather Cowell in the girls 11-12 and Silver and Bronze in the boys 9-10 by Arthur Polley and Harry Kilby respectively. Lizzie Harraghy and Emily Gower competed very well in the first rounds and were both placed for a medal position at this stage but they were just piped at the post in the final with a three way tie for gold including RGA’s own Lucy Elliman. Sadly Joshua Bland fell and twisted his knee in warm up doing a new move for him, so in the end could not compete. We all wish him a speedy recovery. A huge thanks to Kath and Rob and all at Yorkshire for a great weekend >> to top
